Not really, but she could as well be. Miss Lily is a hedgehog. A grumpy, prickly porcupine-like hedgehog. You can’t really blame her, being the only lady in a male dominated zoo would make anyone grumpy. She enjoys her beauty sleep and doesn’t like to be woken up before 10pm – she likes the night life. She is of the African Pygmy variety. In the late evenings, however, she is a true sweet and gentle girl. There is nothing she loves more than to nestle in a warm place and quietly watch TV…and meal worms, she loves those too. Here she is all curious and prickly:
